Today my drive to work looked like this:

Except that I was driving down country back roads instead of a major highway. And it wasn't the Mississippi river flooding again, it was little creeks and streams. We've got waaaaayyy too much rain last night. Our backyard is currently a marsh.
(to be clear, I took these pictures on our move from Missouri to Mississippi last May when the river had flooded. However, there are comparable to the amount of water currently sitting in the ditches next to the road I drive on.)
